Where we started

Project Overview.

Ryan James Miller is a sales performance coach and business consultant. He’s also building an online community for men and runs a podcast and vlog. Business was good, but Ryan found himself spending hours creating content and getting very few inbound leads for his sales coaching business, even though he was posting regularly on LinkedIn. After seeing that SHFT generates leads every day through LinkedIn, Ryan knew he had to reach out for help.

The Problem.

In his own words, Ryan’s “message had gotten watered down in large part due to me offering many things to many people.” Ryan was trying to push too much on his LinkedIn audience: sales coaching, Be Authentic community membership, Men of Freedom Facebook group, podcast, and vlog. That lack of focus was causing him to waste a lot of time on LinkedIn with little to no results. He needed to find a way to be seen as an expert sales coach in the eyes of his audience on LinkedIn.

Step One


During our consultation, we helped Ryan nail down the focus that would drive leads and revenue for his sales consulting business.

Step Two


Then we developed a content strategy and listed post ideas that gave him clarity on the type of content to create each day. This strategy focused on one main topic with 2-3 pillar topics to brand him as a sales expert on LinkedIn.

Step Three


We finished up our time together by training Ryan on engagement and social selling tactics he could use to generate more inbound leads.
